- From October 2012 to date: Doctorate candidate under co-direction with a thesis entitled : « Recognition of Informal Norms in Creating Resilient Water Management Systems- The Case of Soweto East-Nairobi », Laboratory- Les Afriques dans le Monde (LAM), Universite Bordeaux Montaigne. Thesis director : Bernard Calas.
- From May 2014 to date: Member of the Nairobi team « Food Metres project» a seven city international research project in shortening urban food chains.
